I grew up in the lovely state of Ohio and currently live here among the cornfields with my cat, Omega.

When I'm not writing my next novel, I play rugby, travel, twirl my sword, or read anything with a tragic love story.

My inspiration for A Realm of Blood and Mercy stemmed from my desire to escape reality and the years of sitting in the back of a fire engine and bumping down the road in an ambulance.
